We are aware of a propaganda by a seating senator (Dino Meleye) against Gov.Yahaya Bello.
His Excellency is not a person with questionable character, he never been charged to court, neither was he involved in any criminal case just like Melaye. 

Nigerians have known Senator Dino Melaye to be of questionable character, controversial and a criminal. His nomination to serve as a senator under the APC platform was the greatest mistake our great party has ever made, but election is on the way come 2019. We Kogi citizens will decide his fate through the mandate given to us under the armpit of the constitution (PVC). 

Senator Dino Melaye who cannot bust of his academic records and qualifications should stop comparing himself with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. he claimed to be senator but publicly beatup his wife and eventually disgracing her. he claimed to love Kogi people but what has he done with our money. He is only living on our tax payers money without executing a singe project in his constituency.

Our attention has been drawn to a recent action taken by Dino for dragging Gov. Yahaya Bello to court over conduct of local Government election. Senator Dino Melaye cannot stop the Governor from appointing a caretaker committee or sole administrator, as this is not an illegal because he is acting strictly withing the constitution.
We want to categorically state that people with questionable character should not even been allow access to court, talk less of lodging a omplaint against people of high integrity. 

Finally, we want to use this medium to call on all well meaning kogi people to disregard his empty threat on our Governor as we will not be intimidated by a senator with a questionable character.

Kogi people begin process of recalling Senator Dino Melaye

Scores of protesters in Kabba, headquarters of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, in the early hours of Friday, massed at the party headquarters along the Aiyetoro Road, chanting anti-Senator Dino Melaye songs. The protesters had earlier gathered at the Kabba Township Stadium, from where they proceeded to the INEC office, Lokoja, to initiate the process of recalling Melaye, who represents Kogi West at the upper chamber of the National Assembly. 95% of Kogi workers have received salary–Bello

The Kogi  government said it has completed payment of salary to 95 per cent of of its workers that were cleared in the just concluded staff screening and verification. The state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, made the assertion on Monday in Lokoja in a statement issued to mark this year’s democracy day celebration. “ I can confirm that people are still getting payment alerts as we do our best to meet the May 31 timeline which we set for ourselves to complete all payments,” the governor said. Bello said that government was deploying integrated staff and payroll automation solutions to consolidate the gains from the screening  in line with the ongoing civil service and pension reforms. Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State says the state workers who have not been cleared cannot get salaries. The governor said this Thursday in Abuja at the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) while fielding questions from journalists.
